Del Taco Restaurants posted late Thursday Q2 EPS of $0.13, even with last year and in line with Capital IQ estimates. Revenue for the quarter came in at $108.6 million, versus $100.0 million last year. This beat the $107.1 million Capital IQ view. The company also reported system-wide comparable restaurant sales growth of 7.1% and company-operated comparable restaurant sales growth of 6.9%.
The company reaffirmed its full-year EPS guidance of $0.52-$0.55 and lifted the low end of its full-year revenue guidance and now expects sales of $470 million and $476 million, versus prior guidance of between $466 million and $476 million. The Street expected full-year EPS of $0.56 and revenue of $471.8 million. Shares were up 4.5% in recent midday trade on Friday.
